I have always admired cats of any breed for their independence, cleanliness and determination to travel their own way.
I have 3 elderly cats and decided to adopt a kitten to boost as I had missed the fun that kittens delivered to my life. After watching a broadcast about different breeds of cats I fell gaga with the Maine Coon breed and decided that was the kitten I wanted. I found a breeder near where I live. i used to be so excited to go to the kittens and find a brand newaddition to my pet family.
The kittens at only months old were much larger than other breeds and had beautiful long furry coats and tails. i used to be hooked!!
I brought my new four- month old kitten home to introduce her to the remainderof the family. My two large dogs and three older cats were very curious and after all, the kitten hid under the bed where all kittens seem to cover after they are afraid.
After many hours of trying to influenceher to come back out from her spot she slowly appeared.
Misty, that was now her name, seemed quite unperturbed with all the eye she was getting and shortly settled right down to be a really lively fille, creating chaos everywhere the house, many ornaments being knocked over and plant pots being investigated, especially people who had dirt for her to play in!
I received a call from the breeder asking if I could take another kitten as he was closing down his business, so, of course, I couldn't say no. Off I visited devourthis kitten that needed a home,to find once I got there that there have beentwo kittens, who were quite sick and that i could see they needed medical aid. I debated with myself on why would I tackle this extra responsibility but, being very soft - hearted, I couldn't turn my back on them.
So for the following time period I kept them removed from the opposite cats and nursed them day and night. With the assistance of my local veterinarian they pulled through and that i could rest easy that every one my care and a spotlighthad given them an opportunity at a contented life.
They are now well settled in to their new life and are causing complete chaos within the house being destructive and playful as all kittens are but the Maine Coon breed may be a determined breed, with a capability to be contented to be by themselves or to dash about the house, all three of them directly, to re-arrange the rugs and therefore the furniture! they will become older to four feet long, so i'm hoping that they're going to have settled down by then or my home could also be in turmoil!
I started off to own one kitten and now i've got three, would I fuck again?
You bet I would!!!
The welfare of cats and kittens, adjusting to a replacement life during a home, with other animals, Maine Coon breed is extremely different from many other breeds of cats, Independent, fun-loving, affectionate, and exquisite
